Applied Automation chooses Hannahs as Charity of the Year

Plymouth based engineering firm, Applied Automation, has announced that Hannahs is its chosen charity for the coming year.

Applied and its staff will be fundraising for the charity with events, activities and corporate sponsorship. The engineering firm will also be the first sponsor of Hannahs’ brand new Children’s Christmas Party. This will be a free party for disabled children and their siblings and will take place in December.

Hannahs Head of Fundraising, Hayley Dann, said “We are over the moon that Applied Automation have joined us as a corporate partner during our special anniversary year. By raising vital funds for our charity, they will be making a huge difference to many children and young adults’ lives. We hope that their support inspires other businesses to do the same because without the support from our local community, we simply would not be able to deliver the care and support to hundreds of young people every year.”

Managing Director of Applied Automation, David Rowe, said: “I am looking forward to the fundraising activities we will be holding at our engineering headquarters and will be encouraging staff who take part in sporting and challenge events to choose Hannahs as their charity. Hannahs is doing fantastic and much needed work in Devon. I am delighted we will be working with the charity to help raise funds for equipment that will make such a huge difference to children’s lives”.
